On the palate it is full-bodied and beautifully structured, combining ripe dark fruit with velvety tannins and balanced acidity. Nuances of dark chocolate, cedar and subtle smoky notes unfold through the long, polished finish. Pairs well with grilled lamb, barbecued meats, slow-braised beef and aged Gouda.
