Description:

Ruby red with a bright core, this classic Umbrian red blends Sangiovese with Sagrantino and Merlot to express both fruit and savory structure. The nose opens with wild red berries, field flowers and a hint of nutmeg-like spice, balanced by a touch of herbal pepper. On the palate it’s dry with fresh acidity, medium body and soft, harmonious tannins revealing red fruit, spice and a subtle earthy nuance. The finish is balanced and gently lingering with a slightly savory edge that makes it very food-friendly. Pairs well with porchetta sandwich with pickled peppers, margherita pizza with chili oil, and truffle pasta.
