On the palate it is medium-bodied and supple, combining juicy dark fruit with soft tannins and fresh acidity. Hints of licorice, cocoa and subtle earthy nuances carry through the smooth, rounded finish. Pairs well with pasta alla Norma, grilled sausages, roasted lamb and aged Pecorino.
