On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied and supple, combining juicy dark fruit with smooth tannins and balanced acidity that keeps the wine fresh and lively. Hints of vanilla, licorice and subtle earth emerge through the polished finish, reflecting the traditional Ripasso method and careful oak ageing. Pairs well with braised meats, pasta with rich sauces, grilled sausages and aged cheeses.
