The 2020 Bouchon “VIGNO” opens with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and wild raspberry layered with notes of violet, dried herbs and cracked pepper. On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied and vibrant, combining concentrated dark fruit with firm yet refined tannins, bright acidity and a distinctive mineral character. Nuances of licorice, graphite and Mediterranean herbs unfold through the long, savoury finish. An excellent match for grilled lamb, beef empanadas, roasted pork or hearty mushroom dishes, whose rich and savoury flavours complement the wine’s freshness and structure.
