On the palate it is medium-bodied and lively, combining juicy dark fruit with bright acidity and soft, supple tannins. Hints of licorice, cocoa and earthy nuances carry through the smooth, refreshing finish. Pairs well with pasta al ragù, grilled sausages, roasted pork and aged Pecorino.
