On the palate it is full-bodied and concentrated, combining intense dark fruit with powerful yet polished tannins, earthy minerality and warming spice. Nuances of dried fig, licorice, clove and dark chocolate unfold through the long, complex finish, balanced by a refreshing lift and silky texture. An excellent match for grilled ribeye, slow-braised beef, roast lamb or aged Manchego.
