On the nose there’s complex aromas nectarine, lemon and apricot — layered with delicate floral hints, sugared almond and a touch of wheat. Subtle smoky and oaky nuances from reserve wines add an intriguing, savoury edge that evolves as the wine opens. On the palate the wine feels velvety and richly textured, with creamy, almost saline effervescence that brings a broad, juicy mid-palate. Flavours of yellow fruit and citrus are balanced by chalky minerality and a refined sense of freshness, while gentle spice and toast linger into a long, elegant finish. Pairs well with sushi, sashimi, shrimp tempura, truffle fries, and charcuterie.
