Maison Les Alexandrins Crozes-Hermitage Rouge is a classic expression of Northern Rhône Syrah from the expansive Crozes-Hermitage appellation. Deep purple in the glass, this wine shows both ripe fruit and elegant freshness typical of its terroir. The nose offers seductive aromas of small red and dark berries with hints of violet and peppery spice, framed by saline minerality and subtle floral nuance from the Rhône granite/alluvial soils. On the palate it’s medium-bodied with juicy dark fruit and bright acidity, supported by well-integrated, velvety tannins that give it finesse and drive. The finish is balanced and lingering with savory spice and floral threads that echo the aromatics. Pairs well with aged Comté or Manchego, Mediterranean beef kebabs, and tomato and olive bruschetta.
