A beautifully aromatic and approachable Barolo, the 2022 Parusso Armando “Perarmando” opens with aromas of red cherry, raspberry and rose petal layered with notes of orange peel, sweet spice and dried herbs. On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied, combining vibrant red fruit with silky tannins and bright acidity that gives energy and finesse. Nuances of licorice, tobacco and earthy minerality emerge through the long, elegant finish. Pairs well with osso buco, braised beef, truffle pasta and aged Parmigiano Reggiano.
