Pieropan Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva has aromas of black cherry, blackberry and plum layered with notes of dried herbs, cocoa and sweet spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and beautifully structured, combining concentrated dark fruit with velvety tannins and vibrant freshness that brings balance and precision. Hints of dark chocolate, leather and espresso unfold through the long, refined finish, reflecting the appassimento tradition and extended ageing. Pairs well with osso buco, wild boar ragù, truffle risotto, aged Parmigiano Reggiano and slow-braised beef cheek.
