Description:
Bright ruby with violet edges, this volcanic-soil red from the slopes of Mount Vulture shows classic Aglianico character with both energy and depth. The nose brings ripe cherry and sour cherry fruit with spice, vanilla and subtle balsamic notes, framed by earthy and smoky hints typical of the region’s terroir. On the palate it’s medium-to-full-bodied with rich red fruit, structured yet ripe tannins and a savory complexity, finishing long and balsamic with lingering spice and fruit. Pairs well with wagyu, roasted pork or lamb, and smoked barbecue ribs.
