This 2021 Contino Blanco beautifully balances richness, freshness and complexity. Aromas unfold with bright citrus zest, white peach and yellow orchard fruit, alongside subtle floral and toasty nut nuances from extended ageing in large oak barrels. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and vibrant with juicy lemon-lime, saline mineral tension and lively acidity framed by a gentle creaminess and integrated oak that carries through to a long, dry, chalky finish with an elegant white that respects Rioja tradition while remaining dynamic and food-friendly. Pairs well with shrimp, scallops, roasted turkey, and sushi.
