Description:

Deep garnet red with rich intensity and a complex, layered nose of ripe plums, black cherry and dark fruit framed by warm sweet spice (nutmeg, clove), subtle balsamic notes and hints of cedar, tobacco and vanilla from extensive oak ageing. On the palate it’s full-bodied yet balanced, with plush black and red fruit, fine silky tannins and harmonious acidity supporting a mix of dark fruit, cacao and cedar-spice depth. The finish is long and refined, with lingering fruit, spice and savory elements that reflect classic Rioja Gran Reserva complexity and bottle ageing. Pairs well with Manchego, Parmesan, aged Gouda, pizza, pork dumplings, and wagyu beef.
