2020 Bodegas Virgen del Galir “A Villeira” As Ermitas opens with intensely aromatic notes of wild cherry, blackberry and crushed raspberry layered with violet, dried herbs, graphite and smoky mineral undertones. On the palate it is medium-bodied yet deeply concentrated, combining vibrant red and dark fruit with high acidity and finely textured tannins. The finish is long, fresh and elegant, with lingering floral, savory and stony notes that continue to evolve in the glass. Pairs well with grilled lamb, roast pork, mushroom dishes, charcuterie and smoky Spanish tapas.
