Aromas of fresh strawberry, raspberry and wild cherry, layered with notes of bay leaf, cinnamon and roasted tobacco. On the palate it is fresh and beautifully balanced, combining juicy red and dark fruit with silky tannins, savoury herbal nuances and a distinctive mineral character derived from the region’s volcanic basalt soils. Hints of black pepper, earthy spice and subtle cocoa. An excellent match for grilled lamb, slow-roasted pork, herb-crusted beef or roasted Mediterranean vegetables.
