On the palate it is full-bodied and velvety, combining ripe dark fruit with plush tannins and balanced acidity. Nuances of vanilla, cedar and cocoa unfold through the long, generous finish. Pairs well with braised short ribs, roast duck, grilled lamb and aged Gouda.
