This approachable Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Pedroncelli “Brother’s Mark” opens with inviting aromas of cassis, blackberry and black cherry layered with notes of mocha, baking spice, tobacco and a subtle herbal lift.  On the palate it is full-bodied with supple, toasty tannins and balanced acidity that maintains freshness and drinkability. Flavors of plum, blueberry and boysenberry unfold alongside nuances of cocoa, cedar, dried herbs and light oak spice, reflecting its time in French oak and classic Bordeaux-style blending.  The finish is long, with lingering blackberry, spice and a touch of earthiness. Pairs well with grilled steak, lamb chops, burgers and hearty roasted meats.
