On the nose it opens with bright lemon zest, yellow apple and white flowers, layered with oyster shell-like minerality and a salty, flinty character that’s signature to the cru. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity and concentrated fruit framed by chalky mineral drive, offering fresh pear and citrus notes with subtle hints of honeyed richness and a long, harmonious finish drinking beautifully now but with the structure to evolve over the next several years. Pairs well with white fish, sushi, tempura, and shell fish.
