Description:

The 2018 Stratus Red opens with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and cassis layered with notes of cedar, violet, tobacco and warm baking spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and elegantly structured, combining concentrated dark fruit with silky tannins, vibrant acidity and remarkable balance. Nuances of dark chocolate, graphite, and subtle oak unfold through the long, complex finish. An excellent match for grilled ribeye, braised lamb shanks, duck breast or aged Gouda.
