A powerful and expressive Amarone from Tenuta Sant’Antonio’s 2020 vintage, this wine shows the classic richness and complexity that comes from the appassimento drying process. On the nose it’s deep ruby with intense aromas of dried plum, ripe cherries, spice, liquorice and dark chocolate, lifted by floral violet and mint hints that add freshness. The palate is full-bodied and structured with concentrated dark fruit and cassis balanced by vibrant acidity and refined, grainy tannins, carrying through a long, elegant finish with savory spice and a touch of cocoa — a great example of Veneto’s Amarone at its best. Pairs well with steak, duck, wild boar, and venison.
